Leonard Liggio, of George Mason University, opened the Saturday morning scholarly session “Conservatism: Social Realism or Ideology?” Oct. 2, 1993, and introduced the panel members: Dr. Gerhart Niemeyer, University of Notre Dame, Dr. Grace Goodell, The Johns Hopkins University, and Dr. Vigen Guroian, Loyola College.
